Nevertheless, at micro company level, the performance measurement of companies implementing KETs has not been studied yet. The objective of the paper is to design the KETs evaluation model for measuring of the company performance.

Furthermore, the model is applied on a preliminary survey of Czech manufacturing KETs-performing companies. As the result, the evaluation model of KETs implementation in companies is based on environmental, social and economic pillars of sustainable development but is extended by additional technological pillar, which is considered as a crucial for KETs. Keywords : innovation; sustainability; company performance; corporate sustainability; technology; KETs; key enabling technologies; European Union.

Despite the selective nature of the reductionist, fragmented nature of enquiries appears to be unproblematic for addressing particular fragments of reality, this approach becomes inadequate and normative - regardless of how analytical or operative it could be - when there is a need to study the entirety of reality. Drawing on the difference between a normative essence and a fundamental intellectual perspective on sustainability, this research establishes the necessity of discovering the knowledge avenue of the scholarship of sustainability instead of imaginatively describing a normative-speculation-based treatment of it.

It, thus, creates the intellectual basis for the discovery of the scholarship of sustainability. Keywords : sustainability; intellectual treatment of sustainability; the scholarship of sustainability; epistemology of sustainability; sustainable development; fundamental research.

Based on a comparative case study, the study finds that the business model framework and the business model canvas' building blocks must be adapted and adjusted to the resources and capabilities of the firm and its strategic and industrial context and operation. Another crucial finding is that the processes and relationships between the business model's building blocks - the day-to-day actions and activities in developing, implementing and gradually revising and auditing a chosen business model - are strongly leadership and management intensive.

By giving an example of sustainable value-creation, the study contributes to the state-of-the-art of corporate sustainability management and development by illustrating how new business models can be pursued in the maritime shipping industry. Keywords : business models; business model canvas; sustainability; value-creation; leadership; strategising; innovation; maritime shipping industry; Norway. Human capital plays a vital role in firms that seek to pursue CSI goals.

This study introduces a management control system as an approach to achieve strong sustainability in business and society through CSI. This paper seeks to examine the role of intellectual human capital in CSI. The paper finds that CSI has distinctive corporate research and development activities that can be applied to complex sustainability issues. The paper reveals that the sustainability of business and society is dependent on factors of intellectual human capital.

The theoretical findings reveal that the nexus between intellectual human capital, CSI and the sustainability of business and society can be explained within the assumptions of the theory of the resource-based view RBV. This paper offers an in-depth review of the relationship between sustainability-related intellectual human capital and CSI. Keywords : intellectual human capital; CSI; corporate social innovation; RBV; resource-based view; leadership; management control system; sustainable development.

Several studies have presented strategies to relate them. However, a model that promotes the sustainability dimensions through innovation focused on an integral recognition is needed. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of innovation factors on a sustainable development model. The methodology consisted of analysing and selecting a published model of the innovation process as well as one model of sustainable development to identify the correlation between them.

For this purpose, an instrument of analysis was designed and was applied in the ceramic coating sector in Tlaxcala, Mexico. The information obtained was analysed by means of statistical analysis. The results showed significant correlations and a model of Innovation-Sustainable Development was proposed, concluding that the model represents a new way to promote sustainability through a culture of innovation. Keywords : innovation process factors; sustainable development dimensions; innovation and sustainable development model; correlation analysis; regression analysis; ceramic coating industry; ceramic tile industry; ceramic coating sector; culture of innovation; companies.

This study was conducted to examine the effect of emotional intelligence on organisational politics in government link companies GLCs in Malaysia. The study's research framework was supported by the leader member exchange LMX theory. Data was collected from middle to top level managers in the GLCs in Malaysia using a stratified random sampling method. Three hundred and twenty-five usable questionnaires were collected and analysed using partial least square structural equation model PLS-SEM.

The findings show that there is a significant link between emotional intelligence and organisational politics. This study provides an understanding that the presence of emotional intelligence can help in improving a leader's ability to manage the political environment.

This study could be replicated within other industries by refining the items used as a measurement variable. Keywords : sustainable organisation; emotional intelligence; GLCs; government link companies; organisational politics; leader member exchange theory.

Departing from the Institutional Theory approach to entrepreneurship and sustainability, we identified institutional and ethical standards and norms that allow a better understanding of the institutional logic behind sustainable business model SBM innovation, how it is formed and its consequences in terms of inequity, oppression and exclusion.

We have linked those standards with 12 constructs that can guide further empirical analyses; incubators, trainers, investors and policy makers could use them to support entrepreneurs avoid planet challenges and enhance human and non-human ecosystems. Keywords : SBMs; sustainable innovation; sustainable business models; institutions; values; ethics; anthropocene; entrepreneurship; ecosystems; inequity; exclusion; planet boundaries.

However, sustainability is an ambivalent concept that can be interpreted in many ways. In the beginning, it was environmentally-related. Later, additional dimensions were incorporated, such as institutional, cultural, or even spatial. As a result of the growth and importance of sustainability, this study provides a comprehensive overview of the core of sustainability. With that aim in mind, we will analyse the following aspects of scientific production: volume of scientific output, primary agents involved countries, institutions , web of science WoS categories, collaborations, acknowledgement patterns, and thematic analysis.

The findings in this paper suggest an increasing growth in scientific output in all areas of sustainability, albeit with different patterns e. Keywords : environmental sustainability; social sustainability; economic sustainability; sustainability core; bibliometric indicators; sustainability research; research for sustainable development; scientometrics.

The academic communitys engagement with the movement came a few years later in the form of sustainability science, which developed and consolidated in keeping with the dynamics of any new scientific discipline. The bibliometric methodology used included social network and multivariate analysis focusing on journal, discipline and subject inter-relationships to map and analyse developments in this new field.

The main findings identified four clusters of journals with different patterns of development: sustainability, renewable energies, green chemistry and green ecology. Mainstream and emerging subjects were determined on the grounds of co-word analysis. Keywords : Green and sustainable science and technology; science mapping; sustainability science; emerging trends; scientometrics.

Therefore, serious measures need to be taken for green transformation. This paper tries to explore and assess the role of media in promoting green transformation by asking university students in Tainan to know how it can affect their attitude towards such a transition. This quantitative pilot study with structured questionnaires is based on 81 valid responses from local and foreign students in four major universities in Tainan.

The results exhibit that correlations do exist between green media exposure and trust, and, trust and attitude. However, correlation between media exposure and attitude is not validated. Therefore, trust is proved to be a mediator between media and attitude in this paper. It is also shown that young adults in Tainan could be affected by green media to have more trust toward green products, which in turns can positively affect green attitude. Although this research has limitations, its novelty can still be treated as a guiding preliminary study and contribute to future research.

This paper is part of a larger study that offers better explanation of local leaders and policy-makers perceptions towards STD as these stakeholders act as the critical initiators or facilitators in a selected tourism site in the local community.

A total of 10 local leaders and policymakers in Thailand was interviewed and the results were thematically analysed using Nvivo program. Although positive and negative perceptions are anticipated, other insightful results including fostering mutual benefits for all stakeholders in a sustainable way are presented. Sample size, data collection and research methodology are this papers limitation.

Further research should include more data from other stakeholders in order to understand the bigger picture of applying SET in STD. This study provides an in-depth analysis of using organisational culture as a sustainable tool to bring about lasting changes in the organisational ecosystems that contribute to employee engagement and lifelong learning.

Samples from respondents were obtained, and SEM analyses were employed in this study. The empirical results demonstrate that bureaucratic organisational culture has no impact on engagement and lifelong learning among employees. Although innovative organisational culture is the most effective in promoting employee engagement, it does not impact employee lifelong learning disposition.

Interestingly, supportive organisational culture negatively impacts engagement, but contributes to workforce lifelong learning LLL. This research shows that a conducive working environment can be created with proactive nurturing of organisational knowledge as the inherent culture of the organisation. Keywords : organisational culture; OC; lifelong learning; LLL; employee engagement; EE; working environment; human resource; sustainability; management. Besides prices, income and population size, the article reflects the impact of urban population size, the temperature, summer temperature, and precipitation.

The article also explores why the current per capita residential water demand in the urban areas is about more than in the other areas in Libya. In this study, the econometric model based on E-views method, instrumental-variable procedures, the ARDL model and the demand equation are applied. The cointegration analysis has shown a significant positive effect of temperature on water demand over the short and long term with partial flexibility of long-term temperature 5.

Also, there is a positive relationship between rainfall and water demand in the long term and its less impact in the short term. There is a significant positive relationship between urban population and water demand. The greater urban population is greater the water demand and vice versa, partial flexibility of the urban population in the long term is at 0. On the other hand, there is a significant negative effect of income on water demand. Therefore, water demand is inflexible to changes in income.

The study demonstrated that there is a negative effect on water price in relation to water demand. The estimated long-term variable of water value is For the models development, the system dynamics method was used. Mathematically, System Dynamics model is a system of linear equations. Through Vensim software, it was possible to develop, document, simulate, and analyse the models, noting the financial impact caused by waste collection in seven municipalities in southern Brazil.

Results were satisfactory and met the designers expectations. Keywords : biodiesel; complex systems; computational modelling; sustainability; systems dynamics; Vensim.

It has been observed from business history that these relationships have disagreements but virtually every party has alleged to the overall objective of good performance of the business. Previous studies have investigated the relationship among various parties within a firm and the impact on performance through agency theory as this theory leads to separation of ownership and control. But the results of previous studies are rather mixed due to disparity in measures of ownership and performance.

This study looks for examining performance under different and detailed list of ownerships and composition of board. Using panel data an attempt was made to study the association between ownership pattern and firm performance for all the major industries listed on BSE index. If any potential investor understands the pattern of volatility, the prediction becomes easier and bagging profits becomes convenient.

It has been observed that whenever a new piece of information hit the market, investors react in their own respective ways. Given piece of information may or may not be that useful for the prediction purposes. So, this research study is basically focusing on budgetary announcements and their impact on market sentiments and investment behaviour.
